Personal Introduction

My life ambition is to radically improve the places I work and live. Whether I'm working internally on growing the culture of a company, or externally through direct marketing or media production, my goal is always to push the envelope on what is viable. I am inherently motivated by challenges, and I am enthusiastic about learning new things and gaining new perspectives. I thrive on being provided the opportunity to prove new concepts as solutions to future challenges.

My ability to adapt and learn is what I consider to be my greatest strength. The world is accelerating more rapidly than ever – “business as usual” has become discernably unusual. My technical knowledge, while important, must coincide with a strong desire to innovate and evolve beyond current practices. Moreover, my dedication and commitment to my work provides me with the fuel to drive difficult projects to a successful conclusion.

Personal Hobbies/Interests

Web development: I’ve been developing websites in my free time for over 20 years. This started as a school project back in 1998, and ever since this time I’ve been enthusiastic about creating innovative and comprehensive user experiences.

Video Games: Video games have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been creating and managing online communities in multiplayer games for over a decade – it’s a big reason why I got so serious with web design (creating websites to organize and structure the communities I’ve created.) With virtual and augmented reality now becoming mainstream, there’s also never been a better time to be an early adopter in this industry.

Socializing: Group hikes, visits to the beach with my dog, and board game nights with a great group of friends are some of my favorite experiences in life. I particularly enjoy hosting small gatherings with close friends at my home - planning and experiencing the perfect evening with good people is unparalleled in my book.

Technology Optimization: I don’t own many devices that I haven’t jailbroken, rooted, or tweaked in one way or another. For me, one of the great joys in life is unlocking the potential of my next investment. I like options, which is why I run three operating systems on my primary computer, and custom ROM’s on all my phones. I even designed and created my own smart home/security system.

Movies and TV Shows: I love finding movies and TV shows that have a strong impact. Be it thoughtful movies that expand my perspective, or new comedies I can’t wait to share with friends. I strongly believe many movies and TV shows are an important cornerstone of the human narrative.
